Bears set training camp schedule

Under new head coach Matt Nagy, the Chicago Bears return to a morning practice schedule. That was one of the chief takeaways when the Bears announced their 2018 training camp workouts.

With John Fox in command, the club routinely practiced in the afternoon or late morning. However, Nagy’s schedule mirrors former head coach Lovie Smith’s, as the Bears will hit the practice fields early in the morning at 8:15am.

The Bears report to Bourbonnais, IL and Olivet Nazarene University on July 19, two weeks ahead of their appearance in the annual Hall of Fame game on August 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. The club continues workouts until August 11 when they conclude the Bourbonnais portion of training camp with a evening practice.

Admission to camp is free but, once again, the Bears will require fans to request tickets through the team’s website. READ MORE
